Section XI Swimming Championships Meet Information @ Stony Brook University
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW
Thank you for our patience as we put this all together to make sure we have this meet. We are running this meet under different conditions than we are normally used to. Please let’s all take a deep breath and slow things down this weekend so that we can give our swimmers a great meet. Please be flexible and understanding as we go forward. Things might come up and we will need to make sure we get it right. Thank you!
Parking is in the Stadium Parking Lot. Walk towards Pritchard Gym. Swimmers will enter the building / pool area through the metal doors. Picture Map Here.
No locker rooms are available. Come with your suit on. Leave with your suit on. Bathrooms will be available for usage upstairs.
Please print out meet Program – HERE I will have a limited amount on deck please print your own program. NO MORE CHANGES CAN BE MADE. ONLY SWIMMERS ALREADY IN MEET WILL BE YOUR ALTERNATES.
You will notice that the program has color coded days on which your swimmers will be swimming. Please make note of these days and heats that your team is swimming in.
Please print Saturday Warm-Up Assignments – HERE We have allocated warm-up times and lanes for your team. If you choose not to use the lane let others know.
BREAKS – We will not take the usual breaks after each event. We will have the 50 warm-down if your swimmer chooses to use it. We will also have a 20 minute break each day during diving.
We are asking each swimmer to leave Stony Brook immediately following their last swim of the day.

Warm-Up 9:00 – 10:15

TIMED FINALS SCORING IS FOR PLACES 1-12
Awards will be available immediately after the 400 free relay. Any awards that you are missing from Leagues will be at the meet on Saturday and Sunday. I will need the 50 freestyle awards back from all League 2 swimmers.
