Congratulations to Sayville-Bayport/Blue Point! They finished off an undefeated season by capturing the League 3 Championship at Hauppauge on Tuesday, October 29th. Their 200 Medley Relay (Thomas, Brady, Carpentieri, Horan) qualified for the NYSPHSAA State Meet with a time of 1:50.98. Brenna Horan took the 200 yard Freestyle(1:59.31). Kathryn Brady followed with a win in the 200 IM(2:13.74) and qualified for states in the 100 Breastroke(1:07.92). Mackenzie Thomas won the 50 free(25.18) and qualified for states in the backstroke 58.73. Tarynn Boesch won diving(238.15). Jordan Carpentieri won the 500 freestyle(5:33.64). Sayville finished the day with a win in the 400 Freestyle Relay (Thomas, Horan, Carpentieri, Brady) 3:49.83.
