Hayley Beutel of Smithtown captured the top score at the Sachem North 11 Dive Invitational on Monday, October 14th. Her score of 512.45 qualified her again for the NYSPHSAA state meet at Ithaca College in November. This is Beutel’s 2nd win this season in the 11 Dive Series. She also captured the win at Lindenhurst on October 5th with a NYSPHSAA qualifying score of 515.70.
Connetquot’s Morgan Cassidy was 2nd at Sachem North also qualifying for states with a score of 464.10. Cassidy also set a new Connetquot 11 dive record. The old record was set by Caitlyn Weiss. Smithtown’s Marisa Lee narrowly missed the state qualifying score of 440 with her 3rd place finish of 420.35. Hauppauge’s Jessica Magee rounded out the top scores with a score of 393.00 a personal best. The next 11 Dive Invitational will be on October 26th at Sachem East HS.
